We have divided this unique toolset into three distinct deliverables available to you:


1. Gap Analysis

When you have a need to recruit a role you will have a good understanding of the technical skills you need to employ to do the role in question.You probably also subconsciously hope to use this as an opportunity to compliment your team with softer skills such as leadership, inspirational management and vision. In this way you could be completing the last piece of your organisational jigsaw and creating a greater balance within your team.In addition, this process will support succession planning, transitioning and your own/corporate objectives. We will help you make these conscious decisions.

How do we do this?

Our methodology involves the testing of individuals within the team/department who are most closely linked to you and this job (Likely your direct reports).They will be given a numerical, verbal and Psychometric test.The results will give you a complete picture of the skills and attributes required for the role in question and a good understanding of what type of person will be suited to the role, the Company and will fit into the cultural profile of the organisation.


2. Talent (STAR) Profiling

Some organisations feel that only certain individuals with specific backgrounds and a certain level of intellect will be successful within their organisation.This is when it is essential that you match the profile of your ‘star’ performers and align them to individuals you require to recruit from the marketplace who would be in the same mould.

How do we do this?

You will need to inform us of your current staff who are being very successful within your organisation. These people will be the ‘stars’ within your business. We would need to profile at least three individuals to gauge an overall match of the calibre and attributes of the individuals who you want to emulate in the external marketplace.They will be given a numerical, verbal and Psychometric test suite and an executive competency based interview (the whole process will take half a day.) The results will give us an overall impression of the profile that makes up a ‘star’ within your business. We can then tailor an assignment specification, identify potential target companies that would match these cultural requirements and pin down a more targeted search process aimed at the people you want. This will also have very positive effects for you as it gives you the opportunity to again highlight to these individuals their value within the business. We would then perform the same suit of tests and methodology upon the short listed candidates in order to achieve a consistent method of assessment.

3. Transition Coaching – The first 100 days

Some organisations realise the importance of the first 100 days when a candidate starts at a new organisation but more often than not due to the busy nature of companies today, once the deal is done people move on to the next task and the new recruit is left to his/her own devices. Simple tasks like making new introductions for the individual, provision of a mobile phone, a PC/laptop, getting a logon, and even which location to go to are sometimes overlooked and take a while to come to fruition. This is where the real value in transition coaching can be maximised.To ensure a smooth transition into the new working environment Axiom will provide a coach to facilitate this transition. Whilst the individual consultant would still have contact with the individual candidate as well, Axiom would offer an external coach who would be available 24/7 as an experienced business professional who can aid the move, help to talk through any issues and provide a sounding board to help maximise the effectiveness of the transition. We find that if this initial stage is managed correctly, the fallout and attrition rates of news recruits is greatly reduced.
