Finance Leaders join Axiom for successful FTSE100 Business Breakfast

Earlier this month, Axiom hosted the latest in its series of successful networking events for business professionals. Held at the Royal Berkshire Hotel in Ascot, the theme this time was “How to Become a FTSE 100 CFO”.
 

Starting early, guests enjoyed a hearty full English Breakfast before listening to the presentation by guest speaker Mark Freebairn, Head of the CFO Practice at headhunting firm Odgers Berndston.  The thought provoking presentation covered the evolving commercial and strategic nature of the CFO role today and the positive actions individuals can start taking now to position themselves at this level. The presentation was followed by a lively Question & Answer session and the chance for attendees to meet and network with one another in an informal setting.
 

Participants at the breakfast included individuals in senior Finance and Commercial roles from a wide range of businesses from blue-chip multi-nationals to SMEs including Sony Europe, Centrica plc, Virgin Media, O2, PepsiCo, Serco.
 

Breakfast host, Sema Dalkilic, Head of Interim at Axiom Executive, said afterwards “I am delighted that so many senior people have taken time out of their busy schedules to attend this event and that it has been so well received by attendees. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and we look forward to organising similar events in the future.”
