Interim Programme Director and Transformation Lead

Background

Axiom is a preferred supplier to the Public Sector via the framework agreement OGC (Office of Government Commerce).

The Contract

To appoint an Interim Programme Director and Transformation Lead. Both roles report directly to the Chief People Officer.

The Services

We used a combination of our own database, online advertising and our extensive network of contacts to identify suitable candidates.

The Requirement

The client was looking for an Interim Programme Director to lead and manage a team of 8 people to instigate a re-organisation of the NPIA. Through this period of considerable change, and to support the programme, they would also need to engage a transformation and change specialist to manage the equality, diversity and people elements of the programme.  Industry background was not important however having worked as a Project/Change Manager in other major organisations undertaking programmes of change at this level was essential.

The Solution

Within 48 hours a short list of three candidates per role was presented to our client.  From our select shortlist we were successful with the start of the bid process and the client interviewed two candidates per role. In depth competency based interviews were conducted. Each candidate had been pre-screened for security checks and eligibility for the agency.

The Outcome

We were successful on both ‘bids’ and two individuals were offered the roles and both accepted to join NPIA. Originally their contracts were for a period of one year, with potential to be extended for a further six month period depending upon the programme extension timescale.
