Background
Fujitsu Services operate within the IT infrastructure and applications arena and outsource these services on behalf of their clients. They have operations within both the private and public sectors in the UK. Their applications services division is growing and needed senior executive support.
The Contract
The head of the shared services within Fujitsu awarded the contract. A copy of the Assignment Specification and research target listing is available on request. The contract was commissioned on 3rd September 2006.
Duration of Contract
The timescale of the process is outlined within the contract. The retained search and selection process and timing of events is put together specifically for each client, depending upon client and candidate availability, and any other commitments. In general, the process will take eight weeks on average to complete.
The Services
Axiom developed a targeted listing of potential companies to search within in conjunction with the research team. Due to the nature of the role Axiom had to build very strong relationships with the senior individuals targeted. The work focused on several senior partners who were based in the UK and France. The relationship developed over 6 months courting and discussion and the role was modified as talks continued. One consultant was leading the activity.

and resulted in a meeting of minds and conclusion on how the role would be undertaken
by this individual. Axiom then became very much involved in the operational process
